Even as a twenty two year old bachelorette living in my first studio apartment in Hoboken, New Jersey, the way my apartment looked and felt took priority somehow over other responsibilities.  I had to make a lot with a little. I would scour the neighborhood thrift store or a local garage sale for the latest trends on a budget.  Finding ways to paint old furniture to make it new again. Today, when I walk into my home, I see a palette that reflects my own personal style. In my home, I want everyone that steps in, to feel at home. I have a philosophy that your home should feel and look just like you. I have an eye for inexpensive items that won't break the bank but know sometimes you have to make a splurge to make a room look extra fabulous.
